Below is an outline of the information made available from the NSW Government and NSW Health in relation to changes that will come into effect from Monday 11 October 2021 in our region.

  • Masks will continue to be required for all staff and customers in our shopping centre (except children under the age of 12 and people with medical exemptions).
  • It will continue to be mandatory to sign into the centre and each store you visit on the Service NSW App.
  • Fully Vaccinated people are permitted to enter all retail stores.
  • Unvaccinated people are permitted to enter “Critical Retail” stores only.  All other retail and food related purchases must be made via takeaway or click and collect.
  • Children under 16 will have to be accompanied by a fully vaccinated member of their household to enter non-essential retail stores and personal services such as hairdressers, nail salons and beauty services.
  • On the spot fines of $1,000 may apply to customers for not complying with the Public Health Order vaccination requirements. Further penalties may apply for significant breaches.
  • Social distancing rules still apply so we ask you to not gather in groups when in the centre and allow distance between yourself and other customers.

Please be aware that these regulations have been mandated by the NSW Government and not by our management or retail store staff.  We therefore ask you to respect our retail store staff and refrain from taking your frustration out on them.

We remind you that we are all in this together and we thank you in advance for your co-operation as we all navigate these unprecedented times.

Park Beach Plaza is working tirelessly to keep up to date with the changing situation and Government restrictions and will continue to respond to the changing situation.  It is our goal to continue to support our community with products and services in these unprecedented times.

We remind customers that it is mandatory to wear a mask and sign in on the Service NSW App when visiting the centre and our centre retailers, as this will assist in keeping our community safe.

We also remind the community to follow the NSW Health Orders.  If you have any Covid-19 symptoms no matter how mild, you must get tested and stay home.

Our commitment to the health and wellbeing of our customers, staff and retailers is our primary priority, so we will continue to implement and maintain a number of precautionary measures to help keep our customers and community safe.

We are strongly recommending customers change their shopping habits this year and try and visit the centre outside of peak shopping hours.  Try shopping early or late in the day.

Other safety measures we have undertaken include:

  • Increase in our stringent cleaning rotations with a focus on touch points.
  • Hand sanitiser stations are located at key points throughout the Centre.
  • NSW Health QR Codes at every Entrance.
  • Signage and floor decals have been installed through the Centre, reminding our community to keep 1.5 metres between themselves and others at all times.
  • Regular PA announcements reminding customers not to gather in groups.

While our team focuses on protecting the safety and wellbeing of our community, we need you to play your part as well.

Let’s work together to ensure we each practise safe social distancing during your visit to the Centre and keep a minimum of 1.5 metres between yourself and others at all times.

It is also important that we all maintain a high level of personal hygiene, and we encourage our customers to take advantage of the hand sanitisation stations located throughout the Centre.

Please also wash your hands regularly, cover your coughs or sneezes with your elbow and don’t gather in groups and wear a mask.

Most importantly if you are at high risk or feeling unwell at all we strongly recommend you stay home.
