ABOUT THE ROLE
Support store management and footwear full-timer to achieve sales and KPI targets while providing outstanding individual customer service. Provide support to the Store Supervisor in all operational and management functions within the store. Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of store products/shoe department and ability to service the customer’s needs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sales and Customer Service – This role does require a heavy focus on Swimwear and the ability to focus on customer’s needs in this area.
• Ensure that sales targets and Coopers Surf service standards are met and /or exceeded.
• Build a high repeat business through looking after customer needs in the long term
• Use questioning techniques to gain insight into the type of customer and sell in appropriate product
• Maintain awareness of marketing campaigns, promo’s in-store and support these through customer interaction
• Maintain product and brand knowledge to enhance the sales experience and build customer loyalty to Coopers Surf Australia
• Provide feedback on marketing promo’s, product suitability/sell through and general customer comments
• to assist the constant improvement of the store’s ability to meet customer needs Operational
• Run shoe reports weekly / liaise with the footwear full-timer on what is selling.
• Ensure the store is clean, tidy and the overall store appearance is of a high standard. This is monitored by your managers
• Attend key training, brand and stock information events
• Support your team with assistance and be proactive in maintaining an overall well-kept store environment
• Accurately handle/manage stock
• Operate the POS system accurately and with reference to the cash handling procedures
• Ensure personal presentation is in accordance with Coopers Surf standards
• Monitor, maintain and replenish stock levels. Be proactive with topping up empty racks and ensure at all time the store looks full and tidy
• Manage theft utilising Coopers Surf loss prevention methods
